Welcome!

Alt plus aims to provide high quality translations by using advanced technology for computer assisted translation. This computer technology and university educated translators specialized in different fields enable us fast and affordable execution of projects and even better control over the quality of translations.

Computer assisted translation differs from machine translating (for example Google Translate) in that using CAT software enables translators control over which existing translations will be used again and which sections of text need to be translated from scratch. The translation memory keeps existing translations, so already translated units don't have to be translated again. This ensures compliance between old and new versions of already existing translations and other texts for long term projects. This is especially important when dealing with larger projects in which a number of translators are involved.

Another important factor is that proper use of the aforementioned tools significantly reduces the cost and time of translations, so both client and translator can benefit. The client saves money and the translator is more effective while translating.

Alt plus takes into account the recommendations of Translation Standards EN 15038:2006, developed by CEN (European Committee for Standards) to meet the requirements of quality translation services.

Alt plus considers itself to be more than just a translation company, offering training to introduce the latest translation technologies to a wider range of translators. By offering additional services, we'd like to help all translators who face difficulties with more complex technical tasks or issues with files they are translating, especially when deadlines are approaching.

We look forward to successful cooperation and cordially invite you to contact us,
